The Buakao Inn offers the weary traveler some real comfort. We try to have the most comfortable beds to be found in any hotel anywhere in the world.

Come stay for a few nights and use our central location in Thongsala to explore Koh Phangan from Haad Rin in the south to the northern beaches of Chaloklum. Beaches, scuba diving, waterfalls, the National Park and temples are all within easy reach. Cruise the quiet nightlife of Thongsala. See the early morning markets, watch fisherman unload their catch or pamper yourself with massage and salon treatments. Bar hop from pub to sports bar to lady bar. Live music happens on special occasions.

As Coffee Shop is our restaurant located on the ground floor of the Buakao Inn Guest House. The restaurant features Illy Italian coffee, wines and generous cocktails. Big breakfasts, burgers, hotdogs, nachos, pasta dishes and salads are what keeps our customers coming back from all parts of the island. The kitchen is open from 9:00 in the morning to 9:00 at night. The bar stays open a bit later.

Find us in the street named Soi Krung Thai. This is the small street running along side the Krung Thai Bank. Our street runs parallel to the harbor side street. This is the liveliest street in town. Restaurants, boutiques, sports bars, pubs, night market and shopping plaza are all in the neighborhood. Taxis to all parts of the island are on our corner. An ATM and money exchange are also on the street corner.
